Uses Of Baking Soda For Skin Whitening

“Baking soda” is a term used in kitchens daily. Cakes, pastries and other bakery items include baking soda as a basic ingredient. New and advanced research has revealed its uses for skin treatment. It can benefit the skin in following ways:

1) Whitening of skin

Naturally, baking soda is an alkaline so when applied to skin balances its pH level giving a whitening effect. You can simply mix baking soda with water. Then apply the mixture to your face after a while washes it from the face. You can massage your face with this mixture in a circular motion. However, the procedure can be done only once a week.

Another recipe of skin whitening includes baking soda, lemon juice, and strawberries. Mix the three ingredients and apply the paste on your face.

What you need to do is simply mix baking soda, rose water, and Aloe Vera gel to make a thick paste which balances the skin tone.

Baking soda acts as an antibacterial. It can provide relief from rashes and swelling caused due to itching. You need to mix baking soda with coconut oil to get the correct recipe of skin relief.

Baking soda helps to treat fungus on the skin . Fungi grow with acid. Since baking soda is alkaline, it cuts down the growth of fungus.

A number of masks can be made with the help of baking soda for instance acne mask, blackhead removal mask, mask for younger look, etc.
